Our theme this week was Forts and Fun. In our practical life unit the children created their own forks. In sensorial unit the children roasted marshmallows and created s’mores using graham crackers and chocolate. That was so yummy. During our language lesson the children traced the letter F and tried to find words that started with that letter. The children also learned about the history of the fork and the origin of how it started. In science we learned how a fire can be started with sticks and rocks. Art time was a blast the children created their own campfire and smores. In math the children used marshmallows to count and do simple addition. Lastly the enjoyed using food coloring to match marshmallows with colors. What a fun week we had
