The great big world. (Children’s House 2)

We’ve continued our “travels” around the world this week, learning more about the people, animals, places, and cultures on the seven continents. To celebrate our studies about the world, we’ve been reading Our Big Home, a great book about how we all share the earth, and have to take good care of it together (just like we take care of our “little” world, our classroom, together). And we’ve been pin-punching the forms of the continents, cutting out circles, coloring them blue…and putting it all together to make our very own globes, too!
